A new song "Year"
Christmas 2007 is the first my wife and I spend together and I composed a song for her named “Year”.

EDIT: I’ve edited the clip above from original release to make some quick fixes and tweaks (namely fixed some clicks/pops, set the vocals back a little, and added some reverb).

An endless year is not enough with you
The instrumentation is fairly simple:
- acoustic guitar throughout (panned somewhat right)
- classical guitar to complement acoustic (panned somewhat left, comes in after intro)
- my new PRS Custom 24 (solos and riffs)
- 2 cellos patch on S90ES
- soft jazz snare and shaker from S90ES
The progression goes between D and G (Em/G) in the verse, C and F in the chorus, and the bridge throws in an Am.
All recorded via Logic Express 7 with a Rode NT1A condenser mic through the FMR RNP. The electric guitar (PRS Custom 24 recording in position 8: Series single coils – Warm version of the “in between the treble and middle pickups”) was recording through the RNP direct-in and into NI Guitar Rig (one of the Vox amp patches).

Hola Nico, muy buena la cancion, me parece a mi que tienes el estilo de Cat Stevens, me gstaria que me neviaras la version en español.
