This is a cover I had wanted to do for a long time – a pop/rock version of one of Colombia’s oldest folkloric songs. While keeping it’s traditional touch, I wanted to modernize it a bit. I featured a friend Christian Guevara on the congas. This song was recorded in Tinto Records’s laptop-studio days.

This is my first original song to be recorded; actually not a production of Tinto Records, this song was recorded in a Stanford University Music Department Studio, produced by a music student and friend. This pop ballad was a Valentine’s gift for my girlfriend.
